Preparing for the Bible Time Guide
Deacon Retreat Rooms Remain
The 2024 Deacons Retreat has been booked. We will be at the Hilton Garden Inn in Eagle Friday, 1/26/24, 6pm-9pm and Saturday, 1/27/24, 8am-12pm. For those who are interested, we will be providing complementary rooms. We still have 4 or 5 rooms available, which are guaranteed (we will pay for them whether they are used or not), so please, if you haven’t yet, take advantage of them and, whether you are using them or not, register here. We look forward to this important time of encouragement and fellowship as we begin the new year.

Read Colossians 2:13-15. Consider afresh the wonder of what God did to save you. God saved Noah from the flood by the ark. From what did God save you and how did he do it? How should that lead to a lifestyle of sacrifice in response?
Read Romans 12:1. In what ways would you like to see your life exemplify this idea of a living sacrifice to a greater extent?
Read Genesis 1:28, 9:1, 7. No matter what life stage you are in, how should your life, actions, and attitudes be shaped by this repeated instruction from God?
How is the story of Noah and the flood going to grow your faith? Why should you trust God more because of what we have seen in Genesis 6-9?
What are some specific promises of God that you want to celebrate this week? Why is it important for us to have a clear sense of what God has promised us through his word?
