Read Psalm 34:15-18. In what ways might you be most tempted to doubt that God sees and God hears what is going on with you? What are some other Scriptures you can meditate on this week to correct those feelings of temptation?
How can you bridge the gap between what you may know in your head to be true about God and what you might feel during trials and suffering in your life?
Read 1 Peter 5:6-7. How can a lack of trust in God’s care actually be an expression of pride? What will it look like for you to “humble yourself under the mighty hand of God” in these times?
Read 1 Peter 2:19. In what specific ways do you need to be more “mindful of God” in situations where you may be suffering unjustly?
Read Psalm 27:14. “Wait for the Lord” is something we say a lot In church and as Christians. What should that actually look like in your life this week?
