Please Invite the Men to Next Week’s Event - Encourage your Life Group guys to register here. Please join us for the first of three events in this "Humility" series. This event is on 5/21 at Legacy Life Church from 8am-10am. Breakfast will be served, and we will spend time worshiping God through music and the study of His word. The following two events are on 7/9 and 9/24, so mark your calendars and this series as a whole will help lead up to our Men’s retreat in October.
Reminder - Men’s Deacon Meeting - Men, we will have a Men’s Deacon meeting on 5/22 from 6-8pm at the church office: 12592 W Explorer Dr Suite 100 Boise, ID, 83713. We will be talking about something we’ll be doing over the next several months that is critical to the spiritual health of the men in our church.

Ecclesiastes 11:7-12:8
Read Ecclesiastes 2:24-25; 3:12-13; 5:18-20; 8:15; 9:7. How has the study of Ecclesiastes impacted your perspective on enjoying life and the things of this world in a godly way? As we prepare to conclude our study of this book, what are some specific resolutions you want to make when it comes to following this instruction to enjoy life?
Read 1 Timothy 4:1-5. How should the reality that God is the creator impact how we view and enjoy things in this world? How could you grow in receiving His gifts with thanksgiving as is recommended here?
Read Philippians 2:14-16. In addition to the considerations of this passage, how will an attitude of grumbling and complaining negatively affect your life? What lessons from Ecclesiastes can help you think differently?
If you are younger, read Ecclesiastes 11:9. What are some opportunities you have to enjoy your youth that may get harder as you grow older? How can you enjoy those to the glory of God? If you are older, read Ecclesiastes 11:8, what are the ways you can rejoice in all your many years and use your age as an asset in the fight for joy? If you’re not sure if you are young or old, read both verses and answer both questions!
Read Ecclesiastes 11:10 & Matthew 6:27. These verses help us see the futility of worry. What have you learned from Ecclesiastes that will help you worry less?
