An Important Note About the Next Women’s Event
Ladies, our next women’s event is focused on motherhood and how moms should be connecting their role at home with the Great Commission. For those of you who lead groups that are predominantly past this life stage, I’d strongly encourage you to still come and even to intentionally invite a few strong examples from your group to come in order to encourage the younger women in our church (Titus 2). For this event, I’d even encourage leaders to intentionally team up with a group in a different life stage for the group discussion time for deeper conversation and perhaps ongoing relationships. I’m praying this event greatly helps the moms and even future moms of our church. - Pastor Ben
The event will be on Saturday, June 1st at the Pursuit (6151 N Discover Pl Boise, ID 83713) from 9-11:30am. You and the ladies in your group can register here.

APPLICATION QUESTIONS
Review Deuteronomy 8:2 & 16; Exodus 20:20; and James 1:2-4. How can understanding some of God’s purposes in trials help you have the right mindset when your faith is tested?
Find a verse/passage that expresses the ultimate value that belongs to God. How will this passage help you in whatever tests you may face this week?
Read Romans 8:32. Think about the logic of this verse. How can this verse bolster your confidence that God will give you what you need when you need it?
Remember the example of Hudson Taylor and the words “Ebenezer” (“Till now the Lord has helped us”) and “Jehovah-jireh” (“The Lord will provide”). How can you meditate more on these realities in the midst of whatever tests you are facing this week?
Read 1 Peter 1:7. How have you experienced the joys that came as your faith is proven genuine through testing? How can that motivate further obedience?
