Important Info:

  • Camp Compass Registration - We will be announcing that registration is live this weekend! Here is the link to share with your group. I encourage you to take some time to explain to the new families why Camp Compass is a must for their kids to attend.

  • Requiring Tickets for Kids Pickup - Now that we have implemented a digital check-in process, we will require that parents have their ticket present when they come to pick up their child after the service. If someone does happen to lose a ticket, we can easily print them another one at any of the printing stations. Requiring tickets allows for us to provide better security for every child in our Kids Ministry program. As leaders, you're going to know each of these teachers more intimately than the rest of the church. Please lead the way by having tickets and not grabbing your children without them. Your example is greatly appreciated!

  • Ignite Registration Problems Solved - You may have had some people in your Life Group have trouble with the Ignite registration this past week. Keegan has been working hard to clean up the database for Plants & Pillars, and the issues that some folks experienced should be solved. The problem was organizing "households" in our system, which we didn't run into until now. Thanks for your patience as we continue to perfect this new system!

  • “Links” Nav Added to the Site - There is now a navigation item titled “links” which will help provide a quick way to access all of the latest links that are relevant to the church and events. If you see one missing, let us know! The hope is that this “link” navigation will help you to grab the right info quickly when you’re sending a text to someone in the group or a guest you talk to at church.

The Path to True Happiness
A message from John 15:9-11

  • Read John 15:11. How has your perspective on joy/happiness changed since becoming a Christian? How have you experienced the “full” joy that only Jesus can offer?

  • Read John 15:9. How does thinking about the love that the Father has for the Son help your perspective as you consider Jesus’ love for you?

  • Read Ephesians 3:17-19. Why are we often more prone to focusing on our circumstances than the incredible love described in this passage? How can you focus on the love of Christ this week no matter what the circumstances? (There was a typo in here on the notesheets)

  • Read 1 John 5:3. What difference does it make when we view Christ’s commandments as gracious guidance from a loving Savior rather than arbitrary rules from an overly strict manager?

  • Read John 4:31-34. In what ways do you need to further align your will to God’s so that you can say what Jesus says here? Why will this mindset lead to greater joy?
