Life Group Games - We’ve confirmed dates and locations for our Second Annual Family Weekend! Learn more and register here. With it on the books for 8/26-8/27 at The Pursuit Church, we’ve also locked in our Church Picnic, which means the return of the Life Group Games. Our desire is that every Life Group would participate in the Games this year, and to that end, Cody Davidson and Pastor Charlie are working to ensure the games are accessible and enjoyable for all age groups.

Psalm 84
1. Read Galatians 5:25. As you think through the categories of holiness, dependence, and gratitude, in what specific ways do you feel that you need to keep in step with the Spirit to a greater degree this week?
2. Read 1 Timothy 3:14-15. How will this reminder that the church is the “household of God” give fresh motivation to you as you attend church, fellowship with other believers, and serve your local church body?
3. Read Psalm 84:6. How will the thought of heaven and the fact that you are getting closer to your destination give you strength and refreshment in some of the “dry places” of your life this week?
4. Read Psalm 84:10. How can you personally testify to the truth of this verse? How have you seen the pleasures of nearness with God to be greater than the pleasures of the world?
5. Read Psalm 84:11. What are some specific temptations in your life that you need to counter with the truths of this verse? Remember, going all the way back to Genesis 3, one of the most basic lies of the enemy is that God is withholding something from you!
