Reminder to Register for Adventure Club
Please be sure to register your kids for Adventure Club if you haven’t already, and remind the people in your Life Groups to do the same. We need to have them registered by Saturday, August 31 in order to purchase supplies for the year. You can register them for Tuesdays here or Thursdays here.
Men’s Breakfast 9/7
Join us for the fourth Men's Breakfast of 2024, where we will wrap up our series titled Titus: Keep Building, where we are looking through the book of Titus to find encouragement to keep investing in our families and church.
We will gather together for food, fellowship, worship, a message from Pastor Josiah, and a small group discussion. Register here, and remind the men in your Life Groups to register as well!
Registration for Family Weekend Is Live
Registrations are now open for Family Weekend, which will take place from September 27th-29th. This weekend exists to help families learn how to live biblically while being encouraged through fellowship and having lots of fun together. Friday night will kick off the weekend with a special banquet and teaching from Scott Ardavantis. On Saturday, there will be sessions from 8:30am-12:00pm. The whole church will gather for a picnic filled with food, fellowship, and games on Sunday.
Please register children you will need childcare for, however childcare will be limited, so if you have alternative options, please use those. Use this link to register yourself and your family.

One Thing

APPLICATION QUESTIONS
Read Psalm 27:4. When we lose focus on this “one thing” what are some of the negative effects we will experience in our spiritual lives? What other things in your life compete most with the “one thing?”
What is so beautiful about God? Find some passages that support your answer. Why do you need to meditate on these things more?
As you think through “learn, worship, & apply” as three goals of your Bible reading/study, which of these would you say you do most naturally? Which of these objectives needs more of your intentional focus as you consume God’s Word?
Read Psalm 27:8. What does it mean to seek God’s face? How can you make sure that your times of prayer are not merely seeking God’s hand and his help but truly seeking to know him?
Read Psalm 27:13-14. What will it look like for you to live with this kind of confidence as you wait on the Lord this week?
