Introducing the Life Group Games - Life Group leaders, this is your chance to prove that you have the most incredible group once and for all. At this year’s first annual Family Weekend, we will be hosting the first annual Life Group Games! Each Life Group will compete over seven events throughout the picnic that will be scored. At the end of the event, we will crown one champion! A trophy will get engraved with your team’s name on it if you are the champion Life Group of the year. Battle for premier bragging rights that will last a whole year. The games have been designed for all age groups to give everyone a fair shot at the cup. Let’s GO!
Childcare for Family Weekend’s Friday Banquet - Childcare is full for Friday night. Here’s an idea on how to work with your group: Ask if anyone needs childcare and can’t go unless they get it. Then talk to your group to see if anyone has any babysitters available. If they do, perhaps you can coordinate a few babysitters to watch multiple family’s children simultaneously on Friday night.

Biblical Behavior - Planning God’s Way
James 4:13-17
Out of the five ways to submit your plans to God from point 1, which one do you need to work on the most? How will you start that process?
Read Romans 12:2. In what ways do you need to "renew your mind" and not be "conformed to this world" so that you can better discern God's will? What's one Bible verse that you could memorize to help this process?
Read Proverbs 12:15 and Proverbs 15:22. Do you discuss important life plans with other Christians before making big decisions? If not, why not? How can you start?
Do you need to repent from any sins of omission? If so, describe the problem. How will you start doing what you've been neglecting?
Read Proverbs 6:6-11. Wise planning is a good thing, and God applauds it. How can you plan wisely while avoiding the temptation to make those plans non-negotiable?
