Important Info:
Childcare for Family Weekend - There is very limited childcare for the upcoming Family Weekend Friday night banquet and teaching. When registration goes live on Sunday at 6pm, the limited spots will go quickly. Will you work with your Life Group to develop creative solutions for childcare for those families who might need help?
Special Set Up & Tear Down for Family Weekend - There will be a lot of Set Up and Tear Down throughout the entire Family Weekend event. We’re working to create a special team of people for both of those jobs for the Sunday evening picnic. We need Set Up from 3-4:30pm and Tear Down from 7:30-9pm at Kleiner Park. Will you announce this to your group and encourage those who don’t usually serve in this way to help out? Pass anyone interested along to Cody at cody@compassbible.tv

Behind the Scenes - Jesus’ Desire For His Disciples
John 17:6-19
1. Read Revelation 5:9-12. How does this heavenly picture, that exalts Jesus for what he has accomplished in salvation, inspire you to worship him now? What from the sermon this weekend helped you grow in your appreciation for your salvation?
2. As we navigate the deep truths of God’s sovereignty and human responsibility, why do you suppose that some might use God’s sovereignty as an excuse for not embracing Christ in faith or as an excuse for not sharing their faith? Have you ever done that?
3. Read Philippians 1:6. How do verses like this bring a real comfort and joy to your Christian life? Why should verses like this not make us lazy in our Christian life but actually inspire perseverance and growth?
4. Read 1 John 2:15-17 & Romans 12:2. What are some ways the world will tempt you to follow its pattern this week? How will you renew your mind in God’s truth? (Try to be specific here by applying specific truths to the specific temptations you will feel this week.)
5. Read 1 Peter 2:11-12. How have you seen sin amongst people claiming to be Christians damage efforts to share the gospel? In what ways can you seek to “keep your conduct honorable” so that you may faithfully shine the light of the gospel?
