New Missionary Partner Meet & Greet
Next Sunday, we will announce our new missionary partner, Edi Demo, from the Illyricum Movement to the church. Edi will be in town on Saturday, and we'd like to give you an opportunity to meet him! You can learn more about the Illyricum Movement here: https://www.illyricum.org/

If you get any questions from volunteers or Life Group members about this weekend, here is what we’ve been communicating:
We continue to keep a close eye on the weather pattern for this weekend. As best we can currently tell, we will still be able to safely setup church on Sunday morning. So we are planning for all church activities to continue, including baptisms and our 5-year anniversary celebration. If things change we will make sure to send out a church-wide alert to inform everyone of the change of plans. It is likely this becomes an early Sunday morning decision.

APPLICATION QUESTIONS
Read Matthew 16:18. How should Jesus’ declarative statement that he will build his church and that the gates of hell will not prevail against it encourage you as you look to the future? How does it make you thankful as you look to the past?
Read Philippians 2:5-11. Meditate on the sacrifices that Jesus made for your benefit and spend time thanking him for what he has done for you. What are some specific ways you can follow this example this week?
Read John 8:29 & 2 Corinthians 5:9. What are some of the main ways you are tempted to please yourself instead of God? How will you seek to please God in these instances instead of yourself?
Read Philippians 1:29-30. Imagine what the world would be like if Paul had aimed for a life of comfort and ease instead of embracing the struggles of ministry. If you run away from difficulty for your own comfort, what negative effects will that have in your life and ministry?
Read Philippians 2:14-18. What are some of the ways you might be tempted to grumble in the sacrifices you make to serve others? How can Paul’s example in v.17 encourage sacrifice with gladness instead of grumbling?
