Read Genesis 50:19-21. How have you seen God use things that were meant for evil in your life for good? What are some ways you need to trust God’s plan more this week?
What are some ways you might be tempted to doubt that God is working out his perfect plan? What are some specific passages that you can meditate on this week that can remind you of God’s promises?
Read Galatians 3:13-14. As we consider the “why” behind Jesus’ plan in John 18, how does it encourage you to know that Jesus became a curse by being hung on a tree so that you could be redeemed?
Read Luke 24:46-48. As you think about your own evangelistic conversations, what are some of the ways those times can get distracted from these central elements of the gospel? How can you keep bringing the conversation back to the core truths like Jesus did?
Read Matthew 28:18-20. Remember that the Great Commission starts with the kingship of Christ. What are some reasons people around you need to know that “there is a king, and his way is the best”?
