Awana Schedule - Thursday night Life Group Leaders, be sure to copy and paste the Awana schedule and get it out to your group. Initially, when Awana started this year, the schedule was different. It originally said that 10/21 was OFF, and now that is different. Some other dates have changed as well. You can review the schedule and copy it here.

Read 1 Timothy 1:8-11. What are some of the ways people in our culture do not use the law “lawfully” but instead turn it into some kind of system of self-righteousness? Have you ever done this?
Read Romans 3:27-28. As a Christian, what are some of the ways you might be tempted to forget that you were NOT saved because you were better than anyone else? How can you fight against this pride?
Read Matthew 10:26-33. What are some of the ways you might feel tempted to fear man or how others might pressure you to deny Christ or back down from the truth of Scripture? How does this passage encourage us to not give into those fears?
Read Galatians 1:10. What are some of the smaller ways you may be tempted to please people over pleasing God? How can you fight against those temptations this week?
As you think through this passage and what we saw in John 18, how are you inspired to worship Jesus? What are some specific things that you have seen that elevate your view of Christ?
