Pray for the Men’s Retreat!
Don’t forget to pray for the men who are up at Quaker Hill at the 2025 Men’s Retreat, The Hunt! We’ve already heard of one man repenting and giving his life to Christ today! Pray for tonight’s third session, tomorrow’s fourth session, and for lasting fruit to come from this retreat as we head back tomorrow.

1 Timothy 4:11-5:2
Read 1 Peter 5:1-4. While this verse is directed at pastors/elders, what does it teach you about the importance of being led by faithful shepherds? How does it encourage you to look for, pray for, and follow good pastors?
Read James 1:22-25. How can you respond to the biblical teaching you hear at church by being a doer and now a hearer only? What are the dangers of hearing good biblical teaching but not applying it?
Read 1 Timothy 4:15. Think through your own Christian life and ministry. In what ways would you like to show obvious progress? What kind of things do you need to practice
and immerse yourself into to make that kind of progress?Read 1 Timothy 4:12. Think through the five attributes listed in this passage. Who are some people that have set a good example for you in these things? In which of these
ways would you most like to see your example improve?Read Galatians 6:1-2. Why is it sometimes hard to restore others “with gentleness”? How can you work to come alongside others instead of beating them down?
