Read 1 Peter 3:15. What are some ways this message/passage will help you be able to give a “reason for the hope that is in you”?
What if a friend or relative told you, “You can’t trust the Gospels as reliable. It’s just a bunch of biased writing and myths.” How would you respond? What are some of the reasons we can trust the written record of Jesus that we have in Scripture?
Read John 19:36-37. The last couple passages in John have brought up many fulfilled prophecies; which fulfilled prophecies have been most interesting or enlightening to you? How does the reality of all of this fulfilled prophecy get you more excited to read and understand the Old Testament?
You will not have the opportunity to give the body of Jesus an honorable burial this week. What are some of the ways you want to bring honor to the Savior this week? Why would some of those possibly be controversial in our culture?
Find a couple passages that remind you of how history is going to end and what the “right side of history” will be. How will these passages encourage you this week?
