Pray For Tomorrow’s Women’s Event
As of writing this update, there are 308 women registered for tomorrow’s event!? WOW! Please pray for these women! Pray that if any women attending are not saved, God will give them a new heart. Pray that those who are saved will be sanctified. And pray for Holly as she teaches that the Spirit will guide her to deliver a powerful message from God’s Word!
Women’s Retreat - Registration Opens Sunday
Registration for this year’s Women’s Retreat, The Love of God, opens on Sunday morning! The retreat will be April 18-20th at Quaker Hill Camp and Conference Center. After Sunday’s announcement, encourage the ladies in your Life Groups to sign up and attend the retreat, which will be a wonderful time of fellowship, with teaching centered on the Love of God.
Candidate In Town
Remember, a candidate for a High School Director role here at CBCTV is in town this weekend. His name is Luc LeFort, and he is here with his wife, Ariana. They are spending time with the pastors and their wives, and then Luc will teach at Plants & Pillars this Sunday night. We have been interviewing Luc over the past month, so this trip is a chance for us to interview him in person, get to know his wife more, and let them get an opportunity to evaluate our church as they consider if this is the right place for them. They will be at the services this Sunday morning as well.

Read Revelation 2:4-5. When in your life have you seen your love for Christ and faith in God at their strongest? What did you do in those seasons to fuel that love and faith and how does that compare to what you are doing now?
Read Ephesians 1:3. As you think through some of the hard situations or circumstances in your life, how should the incredible reality of this verse affect the way you view these difficulties?
Read Philippians 2:1-4. As you think through some of the conflict or potential conflict in your life, what are some ways you can prioritize the needs and desires of others? How can you potentially sacrifice to benefit them?
Read 2 Corinthians 4:18 & 5:7. In what ways might you be tempted to focus on the temporal things you can see versus the eternal things you cannot see?
Read Psalm 119:41-42. Why is it so important to make sure our faith is based on God’s Word and a right interpretation of the promises contained in Scripture? What are some ways you might be tempted to trust an idea that is not actually biblical?
