APPLICATION QUESTIONS

1. Read 1 Chronicles 29:10-13. In what ways might the powerful truths of these verses bring calm and rest
   to your soul in a turbulent world? In what ways might these truths inspire you to action?

2. Read James 1:2-5. How should the invincible nature of God’s promises help you obey the commands
   on these verses? What are some of the trials God may be using to grow your faith right now?

3. Read Hebrews 5:9-10 & 7:25. Why is it important to remember that God is the source of our salvation
   and not our own efforts? Why are you thankful that we have a great and effective high priest as an
   intermediary between us and God?

4. Read 1 Corinthians 15:33. What are some of the worldly influences you may have to avoid in your life? What are some ways you might be tempted to compromise in order to earn the blessing of the world?

5. Read Genesis 14:19-20. How should the reality that God Most High is the “possessor of heaven and
   earth” affect how you view your possessions? In what ways should this make you more generous?
