Pray for Women’s Retreat
Please be intentional to pray for the 278 (and counting) women registered for the “Every Thought Captive” Women’s Retreat coming up April 30-May 2. Pray for safety up and down the mountain, for Holly, Kristina, Pastor Ben, and Pastor Charlie as they teach, and ultimately for souls to be saved and sanctified.

Announce Baptisms
Our next baptisms are happening on Sunday, May 31 at all three services. Please announce this to your Life Group and If you know of a follower of Christ, new or old, that has not been baptized, encourage them to take this step of obedient faith. Here is the link to register.

Why is it important to understand that while the sexual immorality of our culture claims to be “not religious,” it is religious and idolatrous at its core? How can that help you as you battle the idolatry of self and pleasure?
Read Ephesians 5:3-6. Why are thanksgiving and contentment such important weapons in the fight for purity in your life? How can discontentment open you up to temptation?
Read 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. How is sexual immorality a sin against your own body? What in this passage should motivate you to flee sexual immorality?
Read Psalm 51:1-6. What can you learn about proper confession from this Psalm? In what ways may you fall short of true biblical confession in your own life?
Read 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10. What does it look like to truly turn from the idols of self or pleasure to serve the living and true God?
