Pray for Fruit From the Women’s Retreat!
As the women head down the mountain today and join their families (and church body Sunday), please be praying for God to do a mighty work in their hearts… and minds! A lot was packed into a this retreat so be praying for each woman to process all that she heard and to glorify the Lord as she works to set her mind on things above!

Read 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. The last two sermons have focused on the topic of sexual sin. Why is it important to remember how serious these sins are to God? Why is it also important to remember that cleansing and forgiveness can be found in Jesus Christ?
What cultural or emotional reasons have you seen people use to change their minds on the issues of marriage, sexuality, or gender? How would you respond to those reasons biblically?
In what contexts in your life do you interact with people who reject what the Bible says about sex and sexuality? How can you live with both conviction and compassion in those contexts?
Read Colossians 1:24-29. In what ways do you make sacrifices to point people to Christ? Why is the goal of presenting everyone mature in Christ worth sacrificing for?
Read Romans 1:25. As you consider the sins you struggle with, how do these temptations involve a battle over whether you will worship and serve the Creator or yourself? How can this understand help you fight against sin?
