Deacons, please review the map below and park in purple. We would love to leave the red area for visitors. Please plan to arrive early to find parking. We’re asking everyone who calls Compass their church to do the same but let’s lead the charge as the chief servants of the church!

Sunday’s Sermon:

How the Resurrection Gives Hope to a Broken World

1 Corinthians 15:50-58

1. Read 2 Corinthians 5:6-7. How can the certainty of a perfect future kingdom of Christ bring present confidence and encouragement to you this week?

2. Read John 14:6. Think about the terms “way,” “truth,” and “life.” How is Jesus the only true source of these things? What impact should that reality have on your life.

3. Read 1 Corinthians 15:57. Why should you be thankful for Christ’s victory? Write out a prayer that expresses your gratitude to God for what he has done for you in Christ.

4. Read 1 Corinthians 15:58. What things are most likely to disrupt your steadfastness or immovability in faith or ministry? How should Christ’s victory and future kingdom help keep you steady despite those challenges?

5. Why is in encouraging to know that “in the Lord your labor is not in vain”? What things do you need to start doing or keep doing because of that reality?
