Praise God for Camp Compass!

Praise God we had an average of 475 campers and 200 volunteers each day! Please be praying for all the messages these campers heard about God being our Rock of Salvation to sink into their hearts and for souls to be saved.

We had a goal to raise $12,000 for our missionary partners: the Richards family in Vanuatu for them to complete their training center and evacuation center that will also function as their church. Praise God, we raised $12,069!

Pray for Ignite!

Ignite is right around the corner- July 14-18. This year’s theme is “Empowered.” We’ll explore what God’s Word teaches about the Holy Spirit and His work in the life of a believer. Please be in prayer for the 297 students and leaders registered. Our prayer is that students would grow in their understanding, gratitude, and worship—walking in and bearing the fruit of the Spirit.

Men’s Breakfast

Men, encourage the men in your Life Group to join us for our next men’s breakfast on July 11th at 8am. We’ll enjoy a great meal, meaningful fellowship, worship, and a solid time in the Word. The event is free, and a hot breakfast is included.

Sunday’s Sermon:

Guilty - The Advantages of Having God’s Word

Romans 3:1-2

  1. Even though we have more access to the Bible than any generation in history, why do so many take God’s Word for granted? How might you be tempted to do so?

  2. Imagine you were a missionary to people that had no experience with the Bible. How would you explain to them why God’s Word is so important/precious, and how can those thoughts help you treasure God’s Word this week?

  3. Read 2 Peter 1:3-4. Why are the “precious and very great promises” contained in the Bible so crucial to the Christian life?

  4. Read 1 Peter 2:1-3. Why is longing for the pure spiritual milk the only sensible response to God’s Word? What from this week’s message can help stir your longing for Scripture?

  5. Read Psalm 71:17-18. How are you trying to pass along the Word of God to someone else? Why is it never too early or never too late to start caring about the next

    generation?
