Deacon’s Meeting Video
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend last Friday’s Deacon’s Meeting! We hope that it was a great time of encouragement together. For those who were unable to attend the meeting, you can find the video of the meeting below.
Adventure Club Volunteer Needs
Adventure Club starts up Tuesday, September 5th and Thursday, September 12th. As we ramp up towards kick-off, we have some needs for volunteers. For Tuesday night, we have needs in the Infant, Toddler, & 2s rooms as well as small group leaders for K-2nd and 3rd-5th grade. For Thursday night, we need small group leaders for 3s through 2nd grade. Please encourage families in your Life Groups who are blessed by this ministry to consider serving at the Adventure Club on the night your group doesn’t meet. They can sign-up to serve through the Serve Form.
Compass Friends
Compass Friends is a Ministry embedded within Compass Kids Ministry that provides someone with a disability a one-on-one support "buddy" as they participate in Kids Ministry. A Buddy helps facilitate access to the Kids Ministry Classroom by providing individualized support tailored to the unique needs of the child they are serving and removes any barriers that might be keeping them from participating in Kids Ministry. If you are interested in serving in Compass Friends please contact Brenda Burandt at brenda@compassbible.tv

Read Psalm 69:29-36. David chooses to praise the Lord in the midst of his present suffering. What can we do today to prepare our hearts to praise the Lord in our suffering tomorrow?
