Adventure Club Volunteer Needs
Adventure Club starts up Tuesday, September 5th and Thursday, September 7th. As we ramp up towards kick-off, we have some needs for volunteers. For Tuesday night, we have needs in the Infant, Toddler, & 2s rooms as well as small group leaders for K-2nd and 3rd-5th grade. For Thursday night, we need small group leaders for 3s through 2nd grade. Please encourage families in your Life Groups who are blessed by this ministry to consider serving at the Adventure Club on the night your group doesn’t meet. They can sign-up to serve through the Serve Form.
Compass Friends
Compass Friends is a Ministry embedded within Compass Kids Ministry that provides someone with a disability a one-on-one support "buddy" as they participate in Kids Ministry. A Buddy helps facilitate access to the Kids Ministry Classroom by providing individualized support tailored to the unique needs of the child they are serving and removes any barriers that might be keeping them from participating in Kids Ministry. Baptism Sunday Coming Up
Our next Baptism service is coming up - September 17th. If there is anyone in your Life Groups or ministries that is a follower of Christ but has not yet been baptized, please encourage them to follow through with this important act of obedience to Christ. They can fill out the application here. Continue to pray for this year to be the most fruitful year of evangelism for our church; that we may see more baptisms as more people are brought from death to life by the power of the Gospel. And pray for those who will share their testimonies on the 17th, as they share what God has done in their lives.

The Lord of the Harvest
Luke 10:1-2
What is the “harvest” Jesus speaks about in Luke 10:2? What is your role in this harvest?
In your opinion, why are there few laborers in the harvest? What keeps you personally from entering into the work of the harvest?
How can you intentionally pray for more laborers to enter into the harvest? Who can you pray for? How can you pray for your own engagement in the harvest?
Write down the name of one person that you can share the gospel with this week. Plan a time to meet with them so you can share how God has changed your life and to explain the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.
