John Sanborn Update
John Sanborn is helping out our missionary parter, Sufficiency of Scripture Ministries, in Uganda. John recently sent some photos/videos that we wanted to share as you continue to pray for him! The video of the downpour is a good reminder to pray for the weather!

Use this list to follow up with the men in your Life Groups about getting registered for the Retreat, encouraging them to join us for this important, beneficial time as we study God’s Word together.

Read Proverbs 22:29. How should this text and what we have studied in Genesis motivate you to be skilled and excellent in your work? What are some ways you can pursue excellence this week?
In what ways might you be tempted to make work about yourself or go outside of the rules/provision God has given you for your work? What does repentance from these ways of thinking look like?
Read Psalm 127:1-2. What are some of the ungodly thoughts we think that can cause us to neglect proper rest and instead pursue “anxious toil”? What biblical thoughts can replace these unbiblical ones?
Read Hebrews 4:8-11. What does it look like for you to “strive to enter that rest” and to encourage others to do the same?
