Part-Time Student Ministry Admin
Deacons, we are currently searching for a part-time Student Ministry admin and wanted to share this with you. We’re prayerfully looking for someone in a stable season of life who is wired for administration, able to serve consistently, and interested in investing in this role for many years. This position is not intended as a stepping-stone into full-time ministry, but a vital support role for someone who excels in behind-the-scenes work and finds joy in helping the ministry run well. If you—or someone you know who may be a good fit—would like to apply or receive more information, please feel free to pass this along. You can access the application here: https://compassbible.churchcenter.com/people/forms/1115053.

Sunday’s Sermon:
The Life-Changing Incarnation of Jesus Christ
John 1:14-16
Read John 1:14. It’s very easy to become familiar with the story of Christmas. Why is
the truth expressed in this verse so incredible? Why should this be more than merely
interesting but also life-changing?Read Psalm 138:1-2. As 2025 comes to a close, what are some ways you have seen the
steadfast love and faithfulness of God this year? Take time to give God whole-hearted
thanks for that.Read John 12:42-43. In what ways might you be tempted to love the glory that comes
from man more than the glory of God? Why is the glory that comes from man so
dramatically inferior to the glory that comes from God?Read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. How can the all-sufficient, never-ending nature of God’s
grace be an encouragement to you—especially in difficult situations? How can you be intentional to point people to the glory of Christ this Christmas? As you
consider this next year, how can you decrease so that Christ will increase?
