7th Anniversary
We will be celebrating our 7th anniversary for CBCTV on January 11, 2026, commissioning the South Valley Church Plant, and celebrating with baptisms! As the Deacons of this church, be praying for this weekend and for the South Valley team as they prepare for this next phase of the church planting process.
Life Groups – Prepare for More People
Life Group leaders, I (PC) will be preaching from Colossians 1:28-29 on Sunday. Part of the application of this sermon is calling everyone to get into a Life Group (see #3 below in the application questions). I imagine this might result in more people signing up for a Life Group after the first of the year. Prayerfully prepare your heart to receive more people. We will continue to work to raise up new leaders, to lead more groups, so that we can reduce the numbers per/group but this can often be a process since God continues to bring more people to CBCTV! Let’s be praying for everyone in our church to join a Life Group and engage in the work of fellowship and discipleship in 2026!
Volunteer Ministry Fair
We will be having a Volunteer Ministry Fair January 18th since there are several new areas in which to serve. Please encourage your LifeGroup members to sign up to serve in a ministry if they are not already plugged in somewhere.

Resolve To Present Others Mature in Christ
Colossians 1:28-29
Read Colossians 1:28. In what ways do you need to grow this year in order to pour into the lives of others more biblically (warning and teaching) and consistently?
Read Colossians 1:29. Even though everyone is called to work hard, toiling and struggling to see everyone mature in Christ, this can be lived out in various ways depending on many factors. What will it look like for you to exhaust yourself to help others mature in 2026?
If you are not in a Life Group, plan to join one. If you are in a Life Group, identify three ways that you can better contribute to the needs of the Life Group in 2026.
Write out a list of specific prayers that you will pray in order to see the first two questions above accomplished. Commit to praying these prayers consistently this year.
Read Philippians 2:4. Give an honest evaluation of how much you put others before yourself. What are your biggest barriers to living a life that reflects this verse?
