Getting the Most Out of the Mist

Ecclesiastes 4:7-16

1. Read 1 Timothy 6:9-10. What are some of the ways “riches” might be appealing to you? What are some of the snares and traps that desire could lead you into?

2. Read Colossians 3:22-4:1. Think again of your current job and responsibilities. What are some of the ways you can direct your thoughts and motives in these areas to God and others as opposed to yourself?

3. Read through the list of “one another” commands. What are some ways you have been on the receiving end of these? How did that help you spiritually? Choose at least two of these commands that you would like to focus on this week and specific people/situations where they would apply.

4. Read 1 Corinthians 12:21-26. If you are a part of the body of Christ, you are “indispensable”! Of course, that should not lead to pride, but what are some of the healthy aspects of realizing that the church needs YOU?

5. Read Proverbs 18:1. What are some of the ways you might isolate yourself? What from this passage/message helps you see the futility of these habits?
