Encourage Your Life Group To Serve at Easter
Please encourage your Life Groups to serve somewhere this Resurrection Weekend - it truly is an ‘all-hands on deck’ weekend for our church.
Easter Weekend 2024 is March 29th-31st, and we will need help with everything from our Good Friday service, to Eggstravaganza on Saturday, to our three Easter Sunday services. For Good Friday we will have limited kids ministry and need volunteers for infants -2nd grade. For Eggstravaganza, we would love all hands on deck from help with set-up to face-painting to monitoring inflatables, etc. During Easter services we will need volunteers to be bringing groups of students to worship time and to the Bible Time Marketplace with live actors. Life Group Women Leaders Prayer Meeting
Life Group Women Leaders: The Saturday before Women’s Retreat, April 13th from 9-11am, we will meet to pray and prepare for “The Love of God” retreat. Breakfast will be provided. Location TBD. Save the date!

Read Hebrews 13:2. How can you grow in giving a generous welcome to others at church? In what other contexts would you like to see yourself grow in demonstrating hospitality?
Read Psalm 8:3-4. How can we maintain the amazement expressed in these verses as we think of how God has condescended (in a good way) to love and ultimately redeem us? Why do we so often drift away from this mindset?
What are some current difficult situations in your life? How should the reality that “nothing is too hard for the LORD” shape your perspective in these trials?
Read Numbers 14:11-12. Why is unbelief so offensive to God? How should that affect your view of your own unbelief?
Read Psalm 131:1-2. How can you follow the Psalmist’s example here? What are some ways you may be tempted to occupy yourself with things that are too great and too marvelous? How can you calm and quiet your soul?
